“I have three and a half cats at home (one is a kitten). I work in a psychiatrist’s office. I’m also a hairdresser and a cook.”

Tell me about riding your bike in New York
“I live in Ozone Park, and I ride my bike everywhere. I’ve been riding a bike since I was 14. I’m 56 now. This is a great bike – titanium. It cost sixteen hundred dollars. I have everything I need in these bags.”

Where are you coming from?
“I was just at the bike shop. The guy there helped me adjust the bag on the back. I don’t do my own repairs – I don’t want to get my hands dirty. When I was young, my brothers would fix my bike for me.”

Where are you headed?
“Back to the psychiastrist’s office. I’m bringing his lunch.”
