New York Bike Portrait: Shawn Drayton of OSLOH Jeans

New York Bike Portrait Shawn Drayton

This is Shawn Drayton, founder of OSLOH jeans, with his Velorbis bicycle. I was recently on assignment  to shoot a bike portrait of Shawn for a profile in the upcoming issue of Momentum Magazine. He’s been riding in New York for about 20 years, and his love of cycling and fashion led him to create OSLOH. The jeans are designed with the cyclist in mind, with features like stretchier fabrics, a sueded chamois seat lining, and reinforced material in the area where the pants are likely to meet your bike chain.

Shawn recently moved with his family to Jersey, but we met in Manhattan, where he still works and rides. We got some great portraits, and Momentum is going to run a different photo, so I’ll post this one for now. We shot this one in Chelsea, thinking that the cobblestoned streets complement his cycle chic style nicely.
