New Brooks and the Williamsburg Bridge – Tilted

My Brooks saddle that I had for only 1 month was stolen recently, but that month of ownership convinced me that I want another one. Especially since that first one had *just* begun to be super comfortable. So, using the justification that a B-17 Narrow is still cheaper than a 1 month Metrocard, I had the guys at B’s Bikes order me another one. My first ride with the saddle coincided with my renting of the Canon 45mm tilt-shift lens. I’ve never used a TS before, so I experimented (a.k.a. took a lot of shitty photos) with it. I’m pleased with this one. I’m less interested in the tilt-shift’s ability to make people and cars look like miniatures than I am in connecting disparate elements in a photo using a shift in the focal plane. I have some ideas with how I can use this for #BikeNYC portraits. I have 13 12 days to make it happen.
