We Are Traffic: Bike Portraits from Hamburg

If you’re reading this site, chances are you enjoy seeing a bike portrait or two. So I’ve got a treat for you. Feast your eyes on “We Are Traffic” – a portrait series from Hamburg, Germany based photographers Byörn Lexius and Till Gläser. Just like my #BikeNYC series, they’re showcasing the rider, the bike, and the city. I love the work they’re doing – diverse, colorful, and with a real sense of place. As Hamburg is not the most bike-friendly place in Europe, their aim is to shed light on the many people who ride there and help promote cycling as a legitimate form of transport.
