Last Friday was Good Friday, which meant early release for many of New York’s office toilers. In our case, it meant an afternoon ride through Prospect Park and a quick bike portrait of my wife. When Mila and I lived in Amsterdam in 2008, we cycled everywhere. Upon our return to NYC I quickly became a regular bike commuter. It took Mila a little longer to warm to cycling here after the bike idyll we enjoyed in the Netherlands. Last year’s acquisition of this Linus Dutchi 3, very reminiscent of the granny bike she rode during our time in Europe, definitely helped. Biking in New York is awesome. Biking with your partner: even more awesome.
Sue - Mila and the Linus go nicely together. Love the second silhouette shot – beautiful framing. Love your work.
Daniel - this image of your wife under the bridge is so good I just love it. inspires me to set up a shot like this if only I had a loving woman to take it with. anyways, just wanted to say I dig your photograph here so keep it up, you have a great eye.
