I spotted this handsome cycling couple at Summer Streets last weekend and asked for a quick picture. Arnie and Leah have lived in New York for 12 years but have been cycling for much longer than that. They ride around NYC semi-regularly, but they tell me they look forward to Summer Streets every year as a special treat.
Speaking of Summer Streets, I’ll have a little bike portrait “booth” set up outside of Bicycle Habitat at tomorrow’s Summer Streets, so come by, bring the kids, bring whomever, and commemorate yourself and your ride. Summer Streets gets crowded and my space will be pretty limited, so this will be a bit different from my normal mode of bike portraits (you know, lots of deserted urban background to blur out :D). But different is good! Can’t wait.
