Remember Julie and her Schwinn Cream?
I took Julie’s bike portrait in April of last year, and it remains one of my favorites (I actually have a print of it on my wall). Well I read some sad news on Julie’s blog today. While Julie was at work, her bike, which was parked on the street, got hooked by a passing truck. Here is the result:
Unfrortunately the frame was damaged beyond repair. Word on the Twitters is Julie’s out shopping for a new bike right now. I can’t wait to see the new ride. At least we’ll always have the memories…
Ryan g. - Tell julie, I have this same bike, I rescued it. BUT I just have the frame, seat and pedals. If she still has her bent shwin cream I’d be more than happy to combine both my perfect frame and her bent one to remake it. Please send me an email with “cream” in the title. I’m pretty cheap on my price and would like to make someone else happy
