Late night ride to Ground Zero

I came home late last night after a playing in a soccer game that capped off a busy weekend, and I just wanted to have a drink, finish watching the Arsenal match on DVR, and go to bed. But then came the announcement about Bin Laden, and at around 1AM I felt duty bound to get over to Ground Zero and witness a small part of history. So, tired legs or no, it was back on the bike and over the deserted Williamsburg Bridge.

Now, I don’t want to say that I’m more badass than the Navy SEALs in Pakistan, but it was late, I was tired, and it was pretty chilly out. See the photos on my main blog.
