Ras-I is a Reggae musician living in Fort Greene, Brooklyn. I spotted him talking to some friends as I rode by. He was kind enough to let me photograph him with his folding bike in front of what turned out to be his home. Ras is on the road a lot and loves to ride when he’s not traveling. He also has a sailboat in Brooklyn; the bike gets him to and from the pier, and folds down so he can bring it on board.
I didn’t ask for specifics on the bike model, figuring I’d just Google it laster (this always works!). But after doing the searches, I’m a bit stumped. The small lettering reads “Compact 20” and the large lettering reads “G. Dragon”. My best guess is it’s an Asian Dahon model, but if anyone has better info, please chime in.
