Today I’m very pleased to announce a new partnership with the good people at StreetsBlog. In case you’re not familiar with them, StreetsBlog is an influential network of city blogs documenting and advocating for livable streets issues around the country. They are starting a new weekly feature called Why I Ride. These posts will feature a #BikeNYC portrait and profile of a different New York cyclist, and will appear every Friday.
I’m really excited about this, as it surely means that my images and stories of New York cycling will reach a wider audience and just maybe start to dispel the notion of New York bikers as an easily stereotyped, monolithic group.
