More from Melanie’s #BikeNYC shoot

For my first #BikeNYC portrait, Melanie and I shot in Greenpoint’s McGolrick Park. It was a beautiful day, but windy. In fact, my light stand fell over twice – once the fall was cushioned by my bag, the second time, by a lucky pile of snow. No harm done, fortunately.

Hit “Continue Reading” below for some other photos and set-up shots from the shoot.

Do you #bikenyc? I want to take your portrait!

We had to use this naked man somehow.

Look how happy she is to be my first #BikeNYC portrait!

I think McGolrick is one of the most underrated parks in NYC.

:D

  • kate - she should raise her seat a little, it looks low

  • kate - and she’s got a cross chain

  • Dmitry - You can see the cross chain from the photos? I’m impressed!

  • Elyisus - Easy to see the cross chain in the “happy” photo. Now, she is beautifull, her bike is cute, the photos are great, and the project is a pleasure to watch. Congratulations!
