Scenes from the 2013 New York City Triathlon

Last weekend I photographed the 2013 New York City Triathlon along with main photographer Tom Olesnevich. I mostly covered the start and finish, while Tom covered the entire race. Racers completed a 1500m swim in the Hudson River, cycled 40k on the West Side Highway, and finally ran a 10k, finishing in Central Park. I didn’t expect there to be so many adorable dogs…
