Last year, it was Snowmageddon and Snowpocalypse. Today, we all learned about Thundersnow. No, it’s not a Swedish death metal band; apparently it’s a real and rare weather phenomenon – a snow blizzard combined with a thunderstorm. It’s been snowing in Brooklyn since about 11AM, and at around 9PM I ventured out to snap a couple of photos.

Rob - The best time for photography is during poor weather conditions. Glad you braved the cold. I stayed indoors with the head cold. I really enjoy this series, the lights illuminating the falling snow.
