My father, playing up the mad scientist vibe.

While visiting my parents over Thanksgiving, I had an opportunity to experiment a bit with my new Lumiquest III Softbox – a small and extremely portable light modifier. When used as a single lightsource up close, it can produce some dramatic results. Especially when the pipes come out.

Here, a more pensive, Gandalf look.
