Jana is a graphic designer working in DUMBO – and that where we met for this portrait of her with her 1970s Fuji. I love the color on this bike. Though she’s lived in New York for over 10 years, she only started commuting by bike four years ago. She regrets all that lost time not enjoying the city by bike – I know exactly how she feels! But better late than never. This year she’s commuting in the winter for the first time. Since it was my first time shooting in DUMBO, I felt that an obligatory cobblestones + Brooklyn Bridge shot was in order.<\/p>\n
