Not to mention a trooper for braving the 15\u00b0\u00a0wind chill to do this shoot. I told her she could back out and wait for a warmer day, but she wouldn’t hear of it. “I’m of tough New England stock!” she assured me. And with that, the Russian-born photographer had no excuse.<\/p>\n

Like me, Jess rode a 10-speed beater around for awhile, before picking her new love – this\u00a0Gran Royale Lurker<\/a>. \u00a0I love the way the grayish\u00a0wintry\u00a0afternoon light makes the unique color of the bike really pop.<\/p>\n
