Angelo cycles, Angelo takes photos. So we have some things in common. In fact, you really need to check out his fantastic work on his cycling blog\u00a0http:\/\/cycleangelo.cc\/<\/a>. We met up in the Lower East Side for a portrait. We shot the shit about photography, cycling, Bike Snob<\/a>, and the Kissena velodrome<\/a>, where I still haven’t been. Actually, he was supposed to take my bike portrait too, but a camera battery malfunction prevented that from happening. So Angelo, you still owe me a photo!<\/p>\n

Incidentally, when I was chatting with Lara from Bicycle Habitat<\/a> awhile back, she asked (just a tiny bit reproachfully :)) me why none of my BikeNYC subjects were wearing helmets. Well, here you go Lara. Except, maybe the brakeless thing kind of cancels it out…<\/p>\n
