This is Sheryl (a.k.a. Ms. Bitch Cakes), and her Hello Kitty beach cruiser. Sheryl writes a popular blog<\/a> where she documents \u201ca Neurotic Glamour Girl\u2019s Weight Watchers Experience and Fitness Adventures.\u201d She\u2019s made an amazing transformation in her life and her bike has become a big part of the journey. Last summer, she completed her first ever 5-Boro Bike Tour on this bike – in heels, naturally.<\/p>\n

A couple of weeks ago, I posted a comment on one of her Flickr photos telling her she\u2019d be a good fit for my BikeNYC series. I didn\u2019t hear back. About a week later, though, I got an email from Sheryl saying that someone forwarded her my site and she thought she\u2019d be a good fit for my BikeNYC series. She never saw my Flickr comment, it turns out. But it was surely meant to be. We\u2019re both Greenpointers (practically neighbors), so Sheryl suggested we shoot on West St. around the Terminal Warehouse building \u2013 a perfect choice.<\/p>\n
