Jesse is a first-year attorney at Ropes & Gray and, as far as he knows, the only bike commuter at the firm. He rides his old Panasonic road bike from the Upper East Side to Midtown in his work clothes. “I usually just ride in my suit – especially in the winter because I don’t sweat.”<\/p>\n

Jesse enjoyed commuting by bike all through college and law school, so it seemed natural to keep doing it after landing his first law job. He’s not sure if he’ll keep doing it this way once the NYC weather gets sticky, but so far the mild winter has been perfect.<\/p>\n

He has a couple of good reasons to pick cycling over the MTA — speed and experiencing the city among them — but I found this to be the most compelling:\u00a0“Riding a bike is fun.”<\/p>\n
