He commutes from Astoria, Queens to Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn on this Dutch beast (a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.workcycles.com\/home-products\/handmade-city-bicycles\/workcycles-transport-double-tube\" target=\"_blank\">WorkCycles Transport<\/a>). The weather last Thursday was beautiful &#8211; it was nice to ride and chat through Astoria as we looked for a place to shoot. We tried a couple of locations but the late morning sun was a bit too harsh. Fortunately, the architecture of New York City gives you many opportunities to find acres of shade. In this case, we just hid under a bridge (the imposing <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Hell_Gate_Bridge\" target=\"_blank\">Hell Gate Bridge<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>And Ryan was kind enough to snap <a href=\"http:\/\/twitpic.com\/4398wu\" target=\"_blank\">this photo of me<\/a> while we were shooting. What a cool location.
